Pool & Pavillion Rentals

Mountain Creek Swim Club allows members ONLY to reserve the pavilion for their family and friend get-togethers. Whether you are celebrating a birthday or graduation or just want to ensure you and your friends sit together, we can help accommodate those needs. We can not accommodate private event rentals of the entire pool and pavilion.

Pavillion Rental Faqs

  • Party (definition)

    Any event or gathering with 10 or more attendees, including members or non-members, is considered a party, and the organizer must book and pay as a party. Each rental includes guest fees and a pool monitor present at the pool for the duration of your party.

    The total number at the party includes ALL party attendees (members, nonmembers, chaperones, parents, siblings, grandparents, etc).

    We request there be at least one adult supervisor per every five children. Adult supervisors count as guests.

    Parties cannot have more than 20 attendees. (Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.)

  • Rental Request

    Only adult MCSC club members (age ≥ 21) in good standing may reserve the pavilion. (The adult member must be present during the entire party.)

    MCSC will ensure that the pool and pavilion will be in a cleaned state for any party. Post-party cleaning supplies are provided by MCSC.

    Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the MCSC Board has the discretion to deny a party request for any reason and/or any request made less than two weeks in advance.

    One-party reservations are allowed per day and per the availability of space. (Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the MCSC board.)

    A verbal agreement does not reserve the time and date. Deposit, payment, and submitted forms must be received to confirm the reservation request.

  • Facilities

    The pavilion is a large, covered structure that holds 5 tables with 4 chairs per table. (If more chairs are needed, the request must be noted in the reservation request.)

    The pavilion houses the bathrooms, which must remain accessible to all members during the reservation time.

    There is NO kitchen access, NO refrigerator, and NO cooler available for use.

    There are three folding tables available for use during the party upon request, (one 8 ft, and two 6 ft.)

  • Rental Costs

    The pavilion rental fee for parties of up to 20 attendees is $200.

    The $200 rental fee is limited to a 3-hour time frame. This includes a 2-hour party, a 30-minute pre-party set-up time, and a 30-minute post-party clean-up time.

    Attendees include ALL party attendees (members, nonmembers, chaperones, parents, siblings, grandparents, swimmers, non-swimmers, etc.)

    A $200 security deposit is required and will be notified of the deposit status within 48 hours of the party’s completion. An MCSC Board Member shall inspect the area used by a party after the party ends. In order for the full security deposit to be returned.

  • Host Member's Responsibility

    You must leave the pavilion area clean, free of personal items, floats, or other pool-related toys, and deposit all trash in the pool cans in the parking lot.

    Responsible for everything involving fees, clean-up, holding noise to a minimum, and leaving the pavilion and pool area without any needed repairs or replacement of any MCSC property or equipment; and for the actions of all attendees.

    Responsible for each of your guests adhering to the Pool Rules.

    Financial reparation for the replacement and/or repairs of any damaged club property or equipment incurred during the member-hosted event exceeding the security deposit amount. Failure to do so will put the host member’s membership in jeopardy.

  • Pre-Party Checklist

    Regardless of the size of your party, each member-host is required to sign the MCSC Liability Waiver Terms at checkout.

    Send each guest a copy of the MCSC Guest Pool Rules, and the MCSC Swim At Your Own Risk Terms and Guest Waiver for them to complete and submit.

    Submit reservation, fees, deposit, and table/chair requests.

  • Post Party Checklist

    Wipe down pavilion furniture and leave it set up the same way it was provided. Cleaning supplies are provided by MCSC.

    Sweep food/debris from pavilion floor and if necessary, wash off pavilion. (Pool hose can be found on the wall near the diving board.)

    Collection and removal of all trash to DeKalb County designated receptacles located in the parking lot.

    Remove personal items, floats, or other pool toys/equipment to ensure no items are left behind. Any unidentified item can be left in the Lost & Found blue bin located in front of the pool house counter.

  • Cancellation Policy

    If notification is received less than 48 hours prior to the event, then 20% of the total fees will be refunded.
